Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s 28th Annual
Engineering Antibodies
Innovative Engineering Strategies to Enable Next Generation Therapeutics
May 11-12, 2027
The 2027 PEGS Boston Engineering Antibodies conference offers a program focusing on the most vexing technical problems now defining antibody drug development. Sessions cover the growing toolkit for reaching difficult targets and crossing biological barriers, from brain delivery shuttles to receptor agonism and tumor-restricted activation. Speakers will address how protein engineers are tuning antibody format, sugar chemistry, and half-life to meet specific clinical needs, alongside cytokine-based immune modulation, targeted protein degradation, and alternative scaffolds such as nanobodies and DARPins. The program also includes a look at AI and machine learning use cases across these disciplines.
Coverage will include, but is not limited to:
- Antibody-Enabled Structural Biology
- Antibody-Enabled Targeted Protein Degradation
- Blood-Brain Barrier and CNS Delivery Shuttles
- Conditional, Masked, and Tumor-Selective Antibody Activation
- Cytokine and Immune-Modulator Engineering
- Engineering for Challenging Target Classes
- Engineering for Receptor Agonism
- Fc Engineering, Half-Life Extension, and PK Optimization
- Glycoengineering and Effector-Function Tuning
- pH-Dependent, Recycling, and Sweeping Engineering
- Small-Domain and Alternative Scaffold Engineering
- Use Cases of AI/ML in Biologics Engineering
The deadline for priority consideration is October 23, 2026.
All proposals are subject to review by session chairpersons and/or the Scientific Advisory Committee to ensure the overall quality of the conference program. Additionally, as per Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s policy, a select number of vendors and consultants who provide products and services will be offered opportunities for podium presentation slots based on a variety of Corporate Sponsorships.
