Engineering Next-Generation Modalities for Durable Treatments

For 2027, The PEGS Biologics for Autoimmune Diseases conference explores the engineering work driving the field toward durable, mechanism-specific treatment rather than lifelong management. Talks span cellular therapies designed to reset a dysregulated immune system, tolerance-inducing approaches that retrain rather than deplete, and next-generation antibody architectures capable of hitting multiple targets or pathways at once. In vivo delivery platforms, complement-targeted biologics, and donor-derived cell engineering address how these therapies reach patients affordably and safely. We will consider diseases still lacking adequate treatment options, including myasthenia gravis, IBD, and celiac disease, and examine how AI and large-scale biological data are impacting target discovery.

The deadline for priority consideration is October 23, 2026.
All proposals are subject to review by session chairpersons and/or the Scientific Advisory Committee to ensure the overall quality of the conference program.
